It is an aqueous acrylic based, economical, eco-friendly and durable plaster which, not only, conceals the defects, hairline cracks and imperfections in plastered wall surfaces, but also, provides water and damp resistant smooth coating.
• Walltek Primer Plaster is compatible with any kind of water based paint over coatings When Surfa Walltek Primer Plaster is applied on concrete surface, the surface will be rendered smooth. On such surfaces, any water based paint can be applied directly.
• Walltek Primer Plaster is not suitable for application on lime rendered surfaces.

Areas of Uses:

• Surfa WALLCURE Putty can be used on concrete/mortar walls and ceilings for attaining smooth surfaces on which any paint/distemper can be applied directly without primer or any other putty. It can be used even on moist surfaces.
• Surfa WALLCURE Putty can be applied on both interior and exterior walls.
• Surfa WALLCURE Putty can be applied on used surface after prior preparation.
• Can also be used for filling cracks from the brick masonry

 

Application Method:

• Walls should be well saturated with sufficient water curing for minimum of 7 days before applying Surfa WALLCURE Putty.
• Clean the surface thoroughly by removing all loosely adhering material from the wall surface by sand paper or wire brush. The substrate must be clean, free from dust, grease and loose materials.
• Moisten the surface, wall with clean potable water.

 

Mixing:

• Mix surfa WALLCURE Putty with 35-40% clean potable water. Add water to putty (and not vice versa) powder mixing slowly for 10-15 minutes till a uniform paste is formed. Prepare just sufficient quantity which can be used/applied within 2 hours of mixing with water.

 

Pre-wetting of substrate:

• Ensure surface is properly wet before application of "Surfa WALLCURE Putty". Also ensure surface remains wet during application.

 

Application on surface:

• Apply the first coat of mixed putty on the moistened wall surface from bottom to upward direction uniformly with a putty blade or trowel.
• After drying of first coat of putty, rub the surface gently with wet sponge to remove the loose particles.
• Allow the surface to dry for at least 3 hours and then apply second coat of putty. Leave the surface to dry completely.
• After drying second coat of putty remove any type of marks with the help of moist/wet sponge or rub the surface very gently with putty blade.
• Leave the surface to dry for 10/12 hours, preferably overnight.
• Total thickness of the coats should be maximum 1.5mm.
• Always prepare only the required quantity of putty and use it within 2-3 hours of mixing with water.
• There is no need to rub the putty surface done with Surfa WALLCURE Putty. However, to rectify any unevenness before application of paint/distemper, gently level the surface with fine water proofing emery paper.
• In case of fresh concrete/mortar surface, it is recommended that two coats of white cement wash be done before application of Surfa WALLCURE Putty.

 

Precautions:

• Don't store surface WALLCURE Putty in open and damp places. Store in dry place.
• Keep out of reach of children.
• Do not keep mixed/prepared putty unused for more than 2 hours.
• Do not use saline water for mixing putty or for cleaning the walls. Use only clean potable water for mixing and cleaning.
• Avoid inhalation while mixing and handling.
• Use proper gloves while mixing and applying putty.

Product Details:

Acrylic Wall Putty is a superior formulation, based on acrylic resin. Water Based SAWP is specially designed for leveling and smoothening the undulations on interior walls. It provides a smooth surface for paint application. Thinning, if required, can be done by adding water and bending to a smooth paste. Surfa Wall Putty becomes hard on air-drying. Cutting is easily done using emery paper and involves no strain.

Directions for use:

• Ensure the surface is thoroughly clean, free from dust, dirt, grease, etc. by sanding with Emery Paper No. 180 and wiping off the powder with a cloth or cotton waste. Apply SAWP directly on primed wall without thinning using a putty knife. Deep dents and pores should not be filled at a time, but in thin layers. Allow to dry for 6 hours or overnight and rub the wall with emery paper No. 180. The loose powder on the surface is to be wiped off with a cloth or cotton waste.
• Apply a coat of suitable Surfalac Primer on sanded putty, before applying finish coats.
