Directions for use:

• Clean the surface thoroughly and make it free from dust, dirt, flakes, grease and other loose particles.
• Surface should be dry cut with emery paper and cleaned before finishing coats are applied.
• Apply 1 or 2 coats, as required. Allow at least 6 hrs in between coats.
• Stir Well Before Use

Directions for use:

• Surface preparation: Remove dust, dirt, grease and loose flaky paint, fungus/ algae by thorough wire brushing and cleaning with water and allow drying.
• Exterior rough surfaces previously coated with cement paint should be wire brushed and washed with water thoroughly and allowed to dry.
• Newly plastered surfaces are to be fully cured and dried.
• Apply single coat liberally using brush and allow drying for 4-6 hours.
• Apply recommended number of overcoats of smooth emulsion or textured paint.

Surfalac Zinc Chromate Metal Primer is a combination of Zinc Chromate and other pigments dispersed in a special medium. It is the ideal primer for steel and non-ferrous metals that are exposed to heavily corrosive environments.

Properties:

• Provides good adhesion to degreased and pre treated metal surfaces. Paint coating on non-ferrous surfaces shows poor adhesion unless the surface is treated chemically to etch the surface. Direct application of Zinc Chromate Metal Primer also shows satisfactory performance for less critical applications. This primer is also suitable for use in marine condition over steel.
